Kara brings over 25 years of progressive accounting experience having worked for both public and private entities throughout her career. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduated with Honors: Magna Cum Laude, as well as an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She is also a licensed Notary and recently received her certification in Property Management from Cornell University.

Kara’s passion in real estate began in 2014 when accepting a Director of Finance position at a local Architectural and Development firm, overseeing all financial operations for the property management and architectural firm. In 2019, Kara pursued and became a

licensed Real Estate Agent and in 2023 obtained her NYS Brokerage License. 

Kara offers an extensive achievement record with proven results providing financial strategy to the firm as well as the owners of the real estate investments. Kara treats every portfolio like her own and manages the full financials to drive organizational and profit growth both internally and for every portfolio; she is successful in identifying areas of improvement and boosting efficiencies and financial excellence that leads to strong bottom-line results. 

Addison’s thirst for Real Estate began in her home state of Ohio while working for a private investment firm, assisting with buying and managing multiple properties. Now living as a resident to Dutchess County, Addison brings her warmth and charm in hospitality locally. 

Addison obtained her NYS Real Estate License in 2022. Combining the discipline and loyalty obtained through her military services with the Air Force, and her 5 years providing quality customer service skills to her clients and tenants, Addison brings another level of professionalism to the firm and the properties we manage. 

Addison’s background consists of short-term rentals, hospitality and property management. She not only brings a  warmth to everyone she meets, she provides a thoughtful level of service to all, not only the investors we work with  but with the community in helping them find a place to not just be a place to rent, but a place to call “home”. 

Her strong work ethic and pride she puts into each and every property, shines not only through the property themselves,  but through the people she has encountered as well..

Shannon is a Hudson Valley girl, through and through. Born and raised in Poughkeepsie, before settling in Staatsburg where she currently resides with her husband and three young children. 

Shannon comes to us with extensive work experience in a variety of industries.  She spent 10+ years working in insurance before becoming the office manager for an organization that specializes in Asbestos Abatement, Lead Remediation, Demolition

and Mold Remediation. Through her work experiences, she has had to interact with people, often at difficult times in their lives.  These experiences graced Shannon with a calm and compassionate nature with exceptional organizational skills.  She

is able to relate to the needs of others while quickly and efficiently resolving issues, all while bringing a smile to the office! 

We are excited for her to bring her organizational skills and warm smile to our offices of A&K Elite Real Estate!

When not working, Shannon loves spending time with her kids and family, gardening, and baking.

 Chance is the heart and soul of the office, always ready to brighten everyone's day with a wagging tail and an occasional bark (usually reserved for squirrels or unsuspecting delivery drivers). When he’s not patrolling the windows for signs of tiny intruders, he can be found lounging in the sun, offering emotional support during stressful moments, or gently reminding everyone it’s time for a break.

His favorite hobbies include squirrel surveillance, cucumber sampling, and making sure no one takes work too seriously.

Whether you’re a visitor or a regular, Chance is always happy to welcome you, unless you’re dressed like the mail carrier.
